Arriving on the planet Yamm, Valeri found herself in a lively bar, filled with scoundrels, mercenaries, and adventurers. It was here that fate intervened, bringing her face-to-face with Captain Lars Pine. Intrigued by his tales of adventure and the chance for a fresh start, Valeri hesitantly joined his ranks.
